About Dr. Toothaker-Alvarez

Dr. Alvarez completed his Bachelor of Arts from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He then went on to complete his medical degree at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, in East Lansing, Michigan. 

Upon completion of his Medical Degree, he completed internship and residency programs at the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A few short years later he decided to pursue an additional residency in Anesthesiology while subspecializing in Pain Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Alvarez is a founding partner of Space City Pain Specialists. He is fluent in Spanish.
